There are so many things to think about and decide when you are getting married, thankfully for us, who was going to take our photos was never a question. I had seen Jon’s work before and I knew he would be our photographer. Before we decided a venue or a date, we had decided on him.
I am not organised and didn’t have a set idea of what style I wanted but Jon got to know us, understood what was important to us and captured our day so perfectly I still can’t believe it.
The morning of the wedding was chaos; the hair dresser, makeup artist, bridesmaids, wedding planner, my Mum and my 2 toddlers were all in the house madly rushing around. Jon calmly went around taking photos of all of the small details, my daughters face when she saw me in my dress, my tears as I saw her in hers, my 1yo sons face as he tried to work out why on earth we had woken him and stuck a bow around his neck, small details that are really, very big details that I never would have thought of myself.
Jon is the perfect combination of professionalism, expertise and casual inter-personal skill that made our wedding day easy and beautiful. The story told through the pictures enables us to relive the moments over and over again.
