FAQ'S

Wedding Photography FAQ’S

Are we able to print the images we receive on USB?

In short, yes. Providing the package you have purchased includes a USB with all the high res images you will receive large files with a 300 PPI. This means they can be printed extremely large with lots of detail without sacrificing image quality.

What’s the largest canvas print you can produce?

We can produce canvases up to 100x150cm in a 3:2 or 200x100cm in a 2:1 ratio.

What type of camera gear do you use?

We use nothing but some of the best cameras on the market. Currently we are using all Canon camera gear and use their professional L Series lenses. This helps ensure we get the best image quality out of all our photos.

How many photographers are there and who is the head photographer?

Our head photographer Jon is the main person behind BC and has over 10 years’ experience in photography. We also have several other key photographers we use depending on the wedding location and client needs.

Do you use a second shooter?

Yes. As you will have seen in many of our wedding photography packages there are two photographers. We find that using two people to capture your special day gives you multiple angles and more attention throughout the ceremony and evening. This allows us to capture two different angles of important moments such as the first kiss and exchanging of the rings.

Do you also use assistants?

Our second shooter also acts as an assistant during the times they require helping out our head photographer Jon. Our second shooters/assistant know exactly when they should be photographing or helping out by holding additional lighting, organising people for group photographs, carrying camera bags whilst ensuring there aren’t’ any distractions in the background or clothing slips.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

All our packages include travel within an hour of Brisbane CBD. Any further travel or accommodation that may be required is confirmed when you make your booking. If you would like us to travel to Hawaii, Bali or any other overseas elopement or wedding we can certainly organise a quote for that too. Make sure you contact us if this is you.

How long does it take to receive our images?

We aim to complete your wedding photographs within 4-6 weeks. Once complete we will notify you of your very own password protected online gallery. Within 24-48 hours we will share a sneak preview of your wedding day on social media. This is a great way to put a couple photographs on our Facebook page and share with your family and friends. We choose several photographs we believe you will love and post them online for you whilst you’re enjoying your honey moon.

When do we receive our album?

As all of our albums are handcrafted bespoke items, the design takes a little longer. As you can imagine we aim to have everything laid out exactly the way you want and will often consult with you for any changes you might request. We provide you with an album layout we think best tells a story with key moments. From here we will give you an online proof where you can make annotations and request adjustments. Once the design is completed we wait for your sign off before sending them to be published, this can take an additional 4 weeks.

Can our guests purchase images direct from BC?

One of the many benefits to our website and your online gallery is all the photographs can be purchased directly by your friends and family. We offer a huge selection of products they can purchase directly from us for a competitive price. Products include but not limited to - digital files, print only, framed metallic prints, canvas's and acrylics.

What are Hero Shots?

Hero Shots are what we like to call the after ceremony photographs with your bridal party. Generally these photographs have a lot of time and thought put into them to create beautiful loving images of the Bride & Groom and also your bridal party. These images are usually the ones that our couples love the most and often are used as the online gallery cover photo.

What is and isn’t included as part of the Bronze Package?

Although the Bronze package is the cheapest we offer we also need to make sure it fits your expectations around what is important to you and your wedding photography. The biggest difference is time and therefore depending on your wedding day schedule it may be best to book the Silver wedding package. This is best discussed during your consultation.
